An annual celebration of the Brandywine River and the return of the American Shad presented by the Brandywine River Restoration Trust. Join us for a day of environmental advocacy, stewardship, fun, and festivities. Sign up now at https://brrt.org/shadfest-2024/ . This family-friendly event will feature educational exhibits by over 20 of Delaware’s leading environmental organizations. Activities will include a shad lifecycle obstacle course, fish print t-shirt painting, a fish seining demonstration, free fishing lessons for children, face painting, music, sustainable arts & craft vendors, food & beverage vendors, and much more!
