Brands for Better Community Meetup with Heather Boersma "The Giving Well"
About this Event
The Giving Well
How to Give Generously Without Running Dry
Giving can be one of the most meaningful parts of our lives. Giving our time, energy, care, ideas, money, attention, and leadership can create incredible impact.
But what happens when we give so much that there is nothing left in the tank?
Join us on November 10 for an evening with Heather Boersma as we explore what it means to live and lead generously without burning ourselves out in the process.
This conversation is for anyone who cares deeply about people, purpose, community, and making a difference, but who also knows that generosity is only sustainable when we learn how to replenish ourselves along the way.
Heather will explore how we can build lives of meaningful contribution while protecting our energy, well-being, and capacity to keep showing up for the people and causes we care about.
What we'll explore
- How to recognize when generosity starts becoming depletion
- The difference between healthy sacrifice and unsustainable giving
- How boundaries can actually make us more generous, not less
- How to build rhythms that help us give from a place of strength
- What neuroscience, psychology, and leadership can teach us about sustainable impact
- How to create meaningful success without sacrificing our well-being
This won't be about giving less.
It will be about learning how to give well.

Why Attend
As the digital world grows noisier and we increasingly question what’s real, what’s human or AI, true or fabricated, what we’ll crave most are things that are tangible and trustworthy. That’s why in-person communities are becoming more vital than ever: spaces where real people gather, connect, and act together.
