Info: Downsizing and Decluttering Made Simple is a practical 60-minute workshop designed to help seniors and their families confidently prepare for a smoother transition, whether moving now or planning ahead.
The session begins with an overview of who the workshop is for and what participants will gain. Attendees will learn how to recognize when it may be time to downsize, including financial, health, mobility, and lifestyle factors that influence the decision.
The core of the workshop walks through a step-by-step downsizing plan, including how to start early, how to declutter room by room, and how to confidently decide what to keep, sell, donate, or discard.
Participants will also learn how to prepare a home for sale with simple improvements, safety updates, and a realistic timeline. The workshop concludes with guidance on coordinating the actual move, including working with movers, packing strategies, and available senior transition resources.
