Stitched Up has joined with Manchester based sustainable clothing brand Beaumont Organic to bring a series of social mending workshops right in the heart of Manchester City Centre.Every last Thursday of the month to bring a bit of life back to your worn or unloved garments!
Got a t-shirt you no longer wear or jeans that don’t fit anymore? Don’t chuck them out, get creative and give them a new lease of life.
At this workshop you’ll make a start on your work in progress pile to rework an unloved item of clothing. Dive into our stash of reclaimed textiles, trims and buttons and get inspired by our sample rail.
This is a social meetup for menders and upcyclers - a friendly place to chat and support one another, share skills and ideas and troubleshoot projects. There'll also be an opportunity to look through Beaumont Organic's timeless collections and do some late night shopping.
Tea and coffee available (donations), or BYOB (alcohol in moderation if you'll be using a sewing machine!)
Level: Advanced, Beginner & Intermediate
