Textiles & Craft Club (Summer Term 1 for 6 weeks every Sunday) for kids 6+
Every Sunday 11.00-12.30pm Sunday 21st April thtough to 26th May 2024
Join us every Sunday morning for our very own Textiles & Craft club here at Clitterhouse Farm. The club will cover the following:
Session 1: Learn how to hand stitch
Introduction to basic hand stitches and threading a needle.
Session 2: Practising hand stitches on fabric.
Getting a good control with needle and thread.
Session 3: Making textiles collage 1
Learning about different types of textiles and prep for the collage.
Session 4: Making textiles collage 2
Making textile collage.
Session 5: Making soft toy 1
Preparing animal stencil for toy making and fabric cutting.
Session 6: Making soft toy 2
Sewing the soft toys.
