🌞 June is Great Outdoors Month, and what better way to celebrate than joining us in the great outdoors, come "hang up (your phones 📲) and hang out!"
Mark your calendars for June 15th—we'll be at La Roca Club venue and would love to see your group there!
Schedules is as follows:
10am - Free Yoga in the courtyard lead by Sacha Patires/IDoYoga
11am - Free Kids Yoga in the courtyard lead by Taylor Brooke/Lake Ozark Yoga & Pilates
11:00am - 5pm food trucks
11 p.m.-3 p.m. - Booths, games and giveaways
12-3 p.m. - FAMILYMPICS. Maximum 5 people per family. $30 entry fee. Challenge your coordination and patience with these wacky backyard games. No age limits. Games will include: Egg Pass, Three Legged Race, Sack Race, Jenga Stack, Ball Roll, Arm Wrestling, Water Balloon Toss, Water Cup Relay, Yank-It, and Knock-it!
3-6 p.m. - Washer Tournament - Teams of 2. $50 registration per team. Double elimination. Prizes for most clever team name & uniform. Prizes for overall winning team. Ages 16 & over.

Branches for the Lake is hosting a family-fun day on June 15 at La Roca Event Venue in Osage Beach to celebrate Great Outdoors Month. The event aims to encourage kids of all ages to unplug and explore the great outdoors. Hang up your phones and enjoy a day full of activities, kids’ games, music, food, a beer garden, outdoor yoga, trail walking, bounce houses, painting projects, and other entertainment. Reconnect at this outdoor family event.
Activities begin at 10 a.m. with a yoga class for all ages and abilities, followed by kids' yoga from 11-11:30 a.m. No cost and no equipment is needed; just show up on time and join in the courtyard. From 11 a.m.-3 p.m., booths representing local clubs around Lake of the Ozarks will introduce programs and outdoor activities available in the area. The Lake of the Ozarks Water Safety Council, Osage Beach Parks & Recreation, the Lake of the Ozarks State Park, Lake Area Runners Club, and other organizations will provide more information about their groups. The Camdenton Dance TEAM will offer face painting and temporary tattoos. The first 100 families to stop by the Branches for the Lake booth will receive a goodie bag.
Gorilla’s Grub Food Truck will sell a variety of food all day, and Twisted Whip will have sweet treats.
Take a short trail walk over to the Magic Dragon Bicycle Skills Park just a short stroll from La Roca venue.
Get a team of five together and enter the Familympics, an adrenaline-pumping family Olympics competition. Test your group’s skills with these wacky backyard games. Entry is $30 with no age limits.
An Old-Fashioned Washer Tournament will be held from 3-6 p.m. The tournament is sponsored by El Bandido Tequila, who will be providing tequila tastings. Teams of two will compete in double elimination rounds. The winner will receive prizes. Registration is $50.

About Branches for the Lake
Branches for the Lake is a non-profit based in Osage Beach dedicated to fostering economic growth through community, collaboration, connectivity, and commerce. The organization is actively engaged in implementing impactful programs within the community. In 2023, Branches for the Lake was awarded a grant from the Missouri Department of Economic Development, administered by the Missouri Community Service Commission, to develop an AmeriCorps program that will allow B4TL to deliver a wide range of services focused on economic opportunity and education.
Through the implementation of AmeriCorps programs, Branches for the Lake intends to address critical community needs, such as increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, sustaining national parks, creating outdoor recreation for all, providing job skills training and preparedness, increasing economic development, and other key initiatives.
