Every June, Brampton hosts the Summer Eco-friendly Kite Festival. The festival is family-oriented and offers fun activities such as kite-making and kite-launching. You can bring your own kite or participate in a master class from professionals to learn how to improve it. The Toronto Kite Flyers will show you how to fly amazing 100-foot-long kites. The Brampton Kite Festival also offers lots of great food, live music, and entertainment and has plenty of vendors.
Held since 2014, the two-day Brampton Kite Festival takes place in the Heart Lake Conservation Area from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the festival is free for children under the age of 4 and $5 for anyone older than 5.
The entertainment line-up is all about multiculturalism, including performers like Neeva Bollywood Dance Academy and other local talents.
