Brainport vs international law

On Sunday afternoon, 7 June, between 14h and 15:30h, you can share your insights on the links between the tech industry in Eindhoven and Brainport area with Israeli entities, with the US and Israeli military-industrial complex, and the broader complicity of the Dutch tech sector and universities of technology in the genocides in Gaza, Sudan, Congo, etc.:

The event will start with an informative introduction, followed by a discussion between the speakers.

During the event, there will be ample time for an interactive exchange of ideas (the second 45 minutes are open to the public). The event will be in English, but the audience is invited to express their thoughts in Dutch (or in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, German, Russian, Farsi…).

The series of conversations ‘Accountability without borders’ aims to create room for coping with the despair around the growing imperialism in the world, with the impunity of countries like Israel and the United States, and how this connects to our daily life, including right-wing populism, militarisation of the industry and of education, state surveillance, war mongering, climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss. Code of conduct

We focus on policies, not on individuals, and we oppose all forms of oppression, like discrimination on political ideas, religious convictions and on the appearance of people: we reject anti-Semitism, anti-Palestinian racism, Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia, ableism and any ideology based on supposed superiority.

Accountability without borders is an anti-imperialist, anti-fascist and anti-militarist platform. The moderator will intervene upon authoritarian, casteist, racist, classist, patriarchal, colonial, or otherwise problematic statements.
