Brain Training for Business Success & Happiness

This Skills Lab is with psychotherapist and author Gin Lalli whose focus is to help people cultivate a positive, proactive attitude by understanding how your brain works and how you can prioritise your mental wellbeing to help face life’s challenges.

In this session Gin and Michelle, the founder of Love Your Business and Michelle Brown PR, will be looking at what is ‘business happiness’ and how you find it and why it is important to know what success looks like to you and being clear about your purpose.

It will be relaxed and very interactive with some great takeaways, including the 3Ps brain training model that can help increase your serotonin levels and as a result, run an even more successful business and leave you feeling more content and fulfilled. We’ll be sharing lots of personal examples too.

Research shows when you are more joyful and content it makes it easier to solve issues and be more resilient and bounce back from setbacks but many of us who strive for ‘happiness’ when running our business don’t know how to be more happy or find contentment in what we have, need or want.

Gin will help us to break this down and share some philosophical insights into ‘how to train your brain’ and reframing to allow us to be as successful as we want to be in business – whatever that might feel and look like to each of us individually.

Tickets are £35 plus booking fee and includes tea/coffee & pastries, with 10% going to the Love Your Business 2023 ‘great cause’ partner, Fighting Against Cancer Edinburgh, FACE which is a fund that helps make life easier for people with cancer and their families, run by a group of dedicated volunteers for the past 30yrs.

Love Your Business workshops are hosted by Michelle Brown, marketing, PR and communications expert with over 20 years’ experience creating impactful multi-channel campaigns for major UK clients including M&S, Costa Coffee, Premier Inn, Geox and Foxlake Adventures.

Michelle, who founded her successful PR agency, www.michellebrownpr.com in 2014, also runs Love Your Business networking events on the last Thursday of the month at Black Ivy in Bruntsfield and is a Media & Communications part-time university lecturer and business development consultant.
