ABOUT THE COURSE
The Brain Medicine Neuroanatomy & Radiology Course provides an introduction to clinically relevant neuroanatomy through a combination of self-paced virtual learning, interactive case-based discussions, and a live brain dissection experience.
Designed for clinicians and trainees working in brain-based disciplines, the course explores anatomy through the lens of Brain Medicine, emphasizing how neural systems contribute to the six core domains of:
- Affect
- Behaviour
- Cognition
- Movement
- Perception
- Arousal
COURSE CURRICULUM
Self-Paced Virtual Modules
- Introduction: Foundations of Brain Medicine; Basics of Neuroradiology; Approach to Brain Biopsy
- Week 1: Cortical Anatomy and Cerebral Vasculature
- Week 2: White Matter and Neural Tracts
- Week 3: Basal Ganglia, Cerebellum, and Brainstem
- Week 4: Limbic System, Thalamus, and Reticular Activating System
