Braids x Faith: Christ-centred Braiding Workshop

Join us in person for a relaxed Christ-centred braiding workshop where you can build your knowledge of natural hair care and braiding techniques while connecting with others.

Whether you’re a Christian or not, you’re welcome here! Come as you are for an opportunity to build community, confidence, and valuable life skills.

You’ll be guided by two experienced demonstrators who will support you at your own pace.

There’ll be music, food, fellowship, and plenty of time to learn and have fun in a calming environment.

Braiding Skills Covered:

• Plaits
• Knotless Braids or/and Box Braids *
• Cornrows

Whether you’re completely new to braiding or looking to improve your skills, this is a space for you to learn.

*Both braiding techniques may be covered depending on how quickly each skill is picked up

**Please arrive 10 minutes early. Late attendees may not be allowed to join, as each technique builds on skills taught previously.
