Brahms/Janáček: Violin Sonatas

We are delighted to present two enchanting works for violin and piano: Brahms' Violin Sonata (1879) in G Major, whose second movement features some of his most tender and intimate writing; and Janáček's fiery and passionate Violin Sonata (1914), which also features a sublime second movement and displays the evolving harmonies and structures of the 20th century with flair and beauty.
