Power-packed Delhi based Trio pumping souls to their thumping grooves.Three faces, one mind, one body. They’re called Brahma.
Surya, who’s probably the middle face is responsible for writing for the band
and is the frontman of the band. With his extra-ordinary guitar skills, he makes
sure all blends in well with and works in harmony.
Joy (Bass) , makes sure every Kick thumps into the chest and no one is left
out.
Vaibhav (Drums) , being Vaibhav plays the backbone of the band and gives it
an eternal shape.
Shows
The Band brings in the experience of over a decade of musicality and wisdom
of 1000 shows, collectively. Which they Played all over the country individually
and with various musical groups.
Joy inherits music from his family and his Dad is a great keyboard player. From
the young age, Joy is a Chapel Star and played guitar & bass in Church
Choirs.
Vaibhav has found his feet well grounded in the independent music industry
with an experience of over a decade on-stage. He’s been in 8 bands and
Brahma is the 9th, hopefully the last and eternal one.
Surya, the face of the band started writing ever since he lost his virginity. This
loss was a win for him and for the world. He’s a well known artist in the indie
live music scene of Delhi, Jaipur and Pondicherry. He’s a born performer and a
star who never misses a chance to blow people off with his presence on stage.
People only say “Soulful” or “Godly”. He has alone played over 500 live shows
all over India, while staying low profile. Which makes people wonder, how?
Releases
The Band before Brahma, was called Indian summer and before that it was
called NH1. Surya and Joy being Intact from the beginning managed to release
an Album and 5 singles.
The band released four singles from year 2018 to 2021 : “Little Baby”,
“Lapata” ,“Ilm” and “Corona Anthem”.
Later in 2021, Their debut album “Kirdar” was released, which was produced
by Surya and is an experiential rock experience. It is a rare creation by these
young talents.
Followed by other singles like “Befikr”, “Saiyan Manmauji” “Daisy” and “Jism
Jaan”.
