Toronto’s dead are rising, the music is getting louder, and you’re invited to the party.
BRAAAINZ is a full-on zombie-themed Halloween night featuring live performances from Feura, Chasing Laika, and Next Week’s Washing, plus a special drag king appearance from King Freddie.
Come dressed as a zombie. Come dressed as something completely unhinged. Come as your favourite undead creature. Costumes are strongly encouraged, and anyone who comes in costume gets in for only $5 at the door.
Expect loud music, Halloween chaos, questionable life choices, and enough BRAAAINZ to go around.
🧟 THE LINEUP
FEURA
Toronto-based alternative artist Feura brings punk energy, theatre-kid chaos, and stadium-sized ambition to the stage. With their debut album Lose Your Head surpassing 65,000 streams, support slots with Silverstein, Big Wreck, The OBGMs, NOBRO, Panic Shack, and Cam Kahain, and recent appearances at JUNOFest presented by CBC, Feura is building a reputation for explosive live performances and a message that resonates far beyond the stage. Their music is powered by a simple belief: life is too short to make yourself smaller for other people.

CHASING LAIKA
Laika may have been the first dog in space, but Chasing Laika is an eclectic queer-core band from the Greater Toronto Area. Their emotive lyrics and driving rhythms manage to simultaneously elicit both gay yearning and moshing. NEXT WEEK’S WASHING
You didn’t know you needed them until you did. Next Week’s Washing merges shimmering shoegaze soundscapes with post-punk bite and ‘90s Britpop styling into a magnetic wall of sound that eschews nostalgia to create something new. Formed in 2024 by ambitious young musicians in Toronto, Next Week’s Washing delivers unforgettable tunes with powerful vocals and sublime guitar lines recalling Oasis and Slowdive, but in their own bold style. Their breakout EP, recorded by Dylan Frankland of Tallies and mastered by Canada’s top engineer Noah Mintz, reflects the nuanced songwriting, tight execution, and confident delivery that gets crowds bouncing during their electrifying live performances. Catch them as the tide is rising. This is only the beginning.
