Join us this Saturday for our first in person Black History Month Conference!
We’ll be joined by three excellent guest speakers who will share their career journey, experiences studying and working as a pharmacist and their day to day in their respective specialties. We'll explore topics including cultural identity, health inequalities and advocacy.
Meet our Speakers:
- Tase Oputu - Chair of English Ph*rm*cy Board and RPS Assembly, Associate Director of Medicines, High Cost Drugs at NHS Kent & Medway ICB
- Sherifat Muhammed Kamal - Specialist Pharmacist in HIV and Sexual Health, previous PDA BAME Network Vice President
- Yaw Twum-Danso - Clinical Pharmacist - Welfare Officer UKBPA
We will also be hosting a range of workshops throughout the day including:
- Crash course on campaigning and student advocacy
- Networking, public speaking and building your personal profile
- Feed-in and brainstorm session to explore issues around the MPharm awarding gap and how you can get involved as students and trainees.

You will recieve a certification of attendance which can go towards your portfolio!
