All are invited to a Thursday Night Football Holiday Mixer & Toy Drive at Cork & Batter - in the heart of Inglewood's sports and entertainment district hosted by the Black Prosecutors Association of Los Angeles (BPLA). Bring an unwrapped book, toy or gift for a child of any age, and enjoy the LA Rams vs. San Francisco 49'ers for an NFC showdown! While we receive many toys for younger children, we are always short on infant and teen items.
For teens, we suggest: cameras, watches, sunglasses, earphones, skateboards, scooters, basketballs, soccer balls, footballs, hair tools (i.e., blow dryers, flat irons, etc.), jewelry, make-up brushes, and crossbody bags/handbags.
This year, all donated items will go to children within the care of DCFS.
For monetary donations, you can either reach out to us personally and we will do your shopping for you, or you can donate to the Los Angeles County District Attorney Victims of Crime at https://www.calfund.org/District-Attorneys-Victim.../ which provides toys for child victims of crime.
