BPA Fly In 2024

Pilot Ratcliff, in conjunction with The Black Pilots of America and local leaders are sponsoring a "Fly In" where a limited amount of youth will get the opportunity to fly in an aircraft. There will be a flight simulator on the premises for an on ground flight, a static aircraft display and a flight observation area. Aviation Historian CB Rice will present the history of African Americans in aviation and the importance of Tuskegee Airmen in the Civil Rights Movement. Free food will be provided for all youth, vendors will be present for all other participants. All participants are encouraged to bring your own chair.
