A conversation between Shakespeare expert Dr. Gretchen Minton and Bozeman Symphony Director Norman Huynh
About this Event

It is common knowledge that West Side Story is based on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. But what does it mean to adapt Shakespeare, changing the genre as well as the setting, and even making a radical alteration to how it ends? Join Dr. Gretchen Minton and Bozeman Symphony Music Director Norman Huynh as they explore the nature of Bernstein and Sondheim's adaptation, highlighting the creative interplay between poetry, music, and movement.

Tickets are not required for this event, but RSVPs are appreciated. Please RSVP by reserving a free general admission ticket .
