What Will Participants Experience?

Each week, participants will take part in a combination of physical activity, mentoring, discussions, and interactive activities designed to develop the whole young man.

Social-Emotional Learning

Participants will learn how to recognize, understand, and communicate their emotions while developing healthier ways to respond to challenges.

Emotional Incarceration

Young men will explore the thoughts, expectations, fears, and behaviors that can keep them emotionally trapped—and learn ways to break those patterns.

Health & Wellness

Sessions will incorporate physical activity and conversations around healthy choices, self-care, discipline, and overall wellness.

Circuit Training

Participants will participate in team-based physical challenges that may include running, jumping, pull-ups, dips, and other fitness activities.

Leadership & Team Building

Through interactive challenges and group activities, participants will develop communication, accountability, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Self-Discovery & Identity

Participants will have opportunities to explore who they are, what they value, their strengths, their self-worth, and the person they are becoming.

Real Conversations & Life Skills

Our discussions create space for young men to talk about real-life experiences, relationships, peer pressure, decision-making, respect, responsibility, and the challenges they face growing into young men.

What Makes BoyZ II Men Different?

BoyZ II Men is more than a traditional mentoring program.

We combine mentoring + physical activity + self-discovery + emotional development + leadership + brotherhood to give young men an experience that challenges them to grow both inside and outside of the classroom.

Every session includes opportunities to move, think, communicate, reflect, and lead.

Participants will also open and close each session with the BoyZ II Men Creed, creating a consistent reminder of the values and expectations they are working toward.

Parent/Guardian Information

Parent/guardian participation is an important part of the BoyZ II Men experience.

A mandatory parent orientation will be held prior to the start of the program. Parents/guardians will receive important information about program expectations, communication, attendance, transportation/pick-up procedures, and how they can support their child's experience.

Additional program information and reminders will be provided after registration.

The Goal

Our goal is simple:

To help young men discover who they are, understand their worth, develop their voice, build their confidence, and become the best version of themselves.

Space is limited to 20 participants, so early registration is encouraged.
