JJVA Summer Break Volleyball Skills Camp is open to boys ages 10-18. JJVA coaching staff will focus on building fundamental skills, perfecting form, and mastering each skill listed below:Volleyball IQ
Personal skill growth training with game specifics and variables. Talk about the different sides of the mental and physical game.
Video Analysis
1-Watching Clips of self-performing skills, college plays, and pros.
2-Going over specific personal feedback
Skills
Hitting: Footwork, Range and Efficiency
Setting: Footwork, Location, Decision making
Defense: Body Posture, Individual Skill defense, Reading the play
Blocking: Footwork, Eye Work, Hand position, Reading play and hitters
Serving: Accuracy, Speed test, consistency
Passing: Platform, Angles, and Reading the server
Spring Skills Camps will focus on individual volleyball skills building towards gameplay on day 3.
Camp Dates:
July 15-17th, 2024
Camp Hours: Camps are 9:00 AM-1:30 PM
Camp Cost: $199 For All 3 Days
What to Wear: Athletic shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes (No tank tops)
