Does your toddler have a hard time transitioning from one activity to another? Looking for social skills groups in Las Vegas? Want to help your child’s social-emotional development?

Welcome to our social skills groups in Las Vegas, NV. Our dynamic and engaging groups are led by a highly experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who specializes in natural environment teaching and play-based learning.

At NBBS, we understand the unique needs of today’s children and the importance of fostering positive and healthy social interactions for children. Our social skills groups provide a supportive and inclusive environment where children can develop and strengthen their social abilities while having fun and making new friends.

With our BCBA-led approach, our groups incorporate evidence-based techniques that have been proven effective in promoting positive social behavior. By utilizing the natural environment as a setting for learning, we create meaningful opportunities for children to practice social skills in real-life situations.

Our play-based learning methodology focuses on the power of play in enhancing social interactions. Through carefully designed activities and structured play sessions, children learn essential skills such as turn-taking, sharing, communication, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.

As an added benefit, our social skills groups are available by request for homeschool co-ops in Las Vegas, NV to easily integrate this valuable resource into their curriculum. We work closely with co-op organizers to ensure seamless scheduling and flexible options for either on-site delivery or in-office delivery.

New Beginnings Behavior Services (NBBS) offers social skills groups for boys ages 11-12 years every Friday at 5:00 pm. In the social skills group, participants will learn:

Meet the Presenter: Cierra Walling, M.Ed., BCBA

Cierra Walling is the founder of New Beginnings Behavior Services (NBBS), a renowned resource for parents seeking comprehensive support and guidance in raising their children. With a strong focus on empowering and engaging families and youth, Cierra’s mission is to foster personal growth, build on strengths, and create lasting positive behavior change.

At NBBS, Cierra takes the lead in parent coaching and social skills groups, employing evidence-based strategies derived from applied behavior analysis, acceptance and commitment therapy, conscious discipline, internal family systems theory, and naturalistic developmental behavior intervention. By drawing from these well-established approaches, Cierra ensures that her coaching style adheres to best practices outlined in the research literature.

Cierra’s journey in the behavioral health sector began as a parent coach, assisting families within the family court system who required therapeutic intervention and supervised visitations. Over the course of 15 years, she has developed expertise in social and emotional education for pre-teens and teens. Notably, Cierra passionately volunteers between 300 and 750 hours each year to facilitate social skill camps and provide mentorship to adolescents in Arizona With Youth Rising.

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Nevada, Cierra possesses in-depth knowledge and experience in behavior analysis. She specializes in reshaping, teaching, and decreasing behaviors to improve the lives of individuals and their families. Cierra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University, as well as a Masters of Education in Education Foundation from Northern Arizona University.

Currently based in Henderson, Nevada, Cierra Walling is dedicated to providing valuable parenting support services to families seeking expert guidance. When she’s not helping parents, Cierra indulges in her love for jazz music, traveling, savoring delectable chocolate, conquering the slopes on a snowboard, and embarking on adventurous journeys to national parks.
