BUILD, our leadership development group, is hosting a bowling fundraiser at Capitol Bowl in West Sac to raise funds for their community service project, VOA's Options for Recovery Shelter.Registration:
• Complete the online registration form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdV0itZNZj-7Ie6o5wyvL7S3_HCAlMs6ij8o7QC4i-rDqA_-g/viewform
• Then send a check for the $250/team of 5 registration fee to Scott Jacobson at 81 Blue Ravine Road, Suite 220, Folsom, California, 95630. (Note your team name on the check.)
Registrations are due by 8/11/2022.

How is BUILD assisting the VOA Options for Recovery Center?
The Options for Recovery Center serves mothers who are experiencing substance abuse and homelessness, along with their children, by providing stable housing and recovery services. Our service project focuses on making the facility a heathier, safer, and more uplifting environment that is conducive to mothers and children overcoming addiction and healing. Specific renovations include providing the center with new furniture, replacing flooring and window treatments in and painting the center’s public spaces, and improving the center’s outdoor area through the construction of a play structure and new landscaping.
How else can I contribute?
Apart from the bowling tournament, BUILD 2022 is accepting donations for our service project. Your gift will positively impact the women who are making a positive change to break the cycle of substance abuse and create a better and brighter future for their children. The gift will go towards labor and material costs and may be tax-deductible. VOA’s 501(c)(3) number is 13-1692595.
