In commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the Birmingham Art Music Alliance, pianists Adam Bowles and Kathryn Fouse are performing six iterations of a piano duo concert program throughout the state of Alabama during February and March 2026. Both musicians are dedicated interpreters of new piano repertoire and have a long history with the organization. The program itself reflects BAMA's singular approach to presenting new music: distinctive works by Alabama-based composers who diverge in age, background, and aesthetics. Music by Gavin Green, Michael Coleman, Michael Huebner, Holland Hopson, Monroe Golden, Emily Zhang, Ronald Clemmons, and Mark Lackey. Free admission.This activity is supported by the Alabama State Council on the Arts.
