Join us to find out more about this fascinating plant and the chance to take home a very special Champion Species goodie bag.
Globeflower (Trolllius europaeus) was once abundant in the area. Found in limey, damp patches within grassland, it has been declining, and is now found at just a few sites within the National Landscape.
Through the Bowland Hay Time project, local, sustainably sourced seed has been propagated and planted out at carefully chosen sites across the Forest of Bowland, helping to restore this spectacular species.
