Starting point: Central Metro gate (take the Lalbazar exit gate) and come onto BB Ganguly Street.
India is rich in diversity and she has many communities that make her proud. In all these diversities, the Anglo Indian Community takes a place. The Government of British India had officially passed an Act on August 2nd, 1935 defining and recognising this community. It is for this reason that this day is celebrated every year as "Anglo Indian Day".
A walk down this old pocket of this city will reveal that this is the place where people from various faiths have made this their home. Truly a melting pot of cultures which is always vibrant at any time of the day.
