Bourkey’s Fin-tastic Fete Returns — Fundraising with Porpoise! 🐬
It’s the Fete with a Porpoise — and we mean that literally. This year’s Bourkey’s Fin-tastic Fete isn’t just about fun (although there’ll be plenty of that) — it’s fundraising with purpose. Or rather purposes as the beloved community event aims to raise much-needed funds to support the students programs and facilities of Bourke Street Public School.
Set to take place on Saturday November 9 2026 from 10am to 3pm the Fete promises an unforgettable day of family-friendly entertainment food games and community connection — with free entry for all.
Event highlights include:
– Live performances by Red Hot Chilli Parents & the Bourke Street School Choir
– Rides games & Sideshow Alley (Big Kahuna Bubble Planet Disco Room + more)
– Talent Show at 12pm
– Big Top Bazaar with local market stalls
– Food & drinks from local legends including Jane coffee carts BBQ fairy floss and more
– Roving performers face painting Surry Hills Fire Brigade and free bike tune-ups
