Celebrating Bourdain Day with street food, a cold beer, and Rock n Roll while we screen some of Tony's best episodes!

After May, the most food-focused month in Miami’s calendar and the inevitable growth of Miami were massive amounts of money, hospitality groups, and restaurant chains are coming to venture into the city, we asked ourselves, shouldn’t we do what Bourdain would do? To bring the focus back to our community, showcase our roots, and highlight those locally-owned, sometimes even family-owned concepts. The emerging pop-ups and breweries are an intrinsic part of our city.

We couldn’t forget the music, either! Tony grew up surrounded by it. His father worked at Columbia Records and encouraged him to absorb any and all genres of music. So much so that as a cook, Bourdain would trade meals for concert tickets at CBGB, while cooking for the likes of the Ramones, the Dead Boys, and the Voidoids. "Music was who you were."
