Block off your calendars if you can for our March meetup. Back by popular demand is our Bourbon 101 class! At 5pm, we will be learning how to evaluate bourbon based on sight, smell, and taste. Cynthia and I are in no way bourbon experts, so we will use tasting notes to help us identify these aromas and flavors from four different bourbons/whiskeys.We invite everyone to attend this portion, it's not just for beginners........though it's perfect for those just getting into bourbon or wanting to learn more about it. The more experienced members can help us find notes in the bourbon that others may miss.
At 7pm, we invite those not interested in the class to arrive for a bottle share, our bottles or yours.
For our Bourbon 101 meetup, we will be supporting local food pantries for this event so please bring at least five cans of soup, or at least $10 to share with our local organizations.
If you'd like to, feel free to bring a dessert to share with the group for the bottle share portion of the evening!
