Block off your calendars if you can for our March meetup. Back by polular demand is our Bourbon 101 class! At 5pm, we will be starting the class learn how to evaluate bourbon based on sight, smell, and taste. Cynthia and I are in no way bourbon experts, so we will use tasting notes to help us identify these aromas and flavors from four different bourbons/whiskeys.We invite everyone to attend this portion, it's not just for beginners........though it's perfect for those just getting into bourbon or wanting to learn more about it. The more experienced members can help us find notes in the bourbon that others may miss.
At 7pm, we invite those not interested in the class to arrive for a bottle share, our bottles or yours.
Please bring a snack to share with the group to help us absorb the "water of life"!
Please RSVP on the event page so we know how many people to prepare for, and also leave a comment as to whether you plan on attending the "Bourbon 101" class at 5pm or just coming for the bottle share, so we can make sure to have enough glasses and note pages ready to go. Space IS limited for the class, probably no more than 20 fit into our living room.
