BOUND BY WOMEN: A NOLLAIG NA MBAN BOOKBINDING WORKSHOP

Join us this Nollaig na mBan for a gentle evening of bookbinding, craft, and women’s stories. Bound by Women: A Nollaig na mBan Bookbinding is a slow, two-hour workshop honouring the rituals of care, rest, and creativity that connect women across generations.

You’ll be taught:

• The art of bookbinding step by step and create your own handmade book. Skills that you can take home and recreate with yourself and share with friends.
• A complimentary cup tea or coffee, a scone of pastry
• A little gift from flowers.ie .

To make your book personal, you’re invited to bring papers of your own: sketchbook scraps, magazine cuttings, old notes, letters, plane tickets, or any random pieces of paper that hold sentimental value or none at all.

Together, we’ll unravel in conversation, collectively learning alongside one another as we repurpose the old and build thresholds for the new, setting ourselves up for 2026.

I will also offer small creative prompts inspired by Nollaig na mBan that you can write or add into your book. And if you don’t bring materials, not to worry everything you need will be available on the night.
