Boulder: Global Run Culture & Storytelling Event

Ten years ago issue #1 of Like the Wind magazine was launched to inspire a global run community. A decade later and the magazine is still committed to telling stories that explore running culture around the world.

To celebrate the milestones of 10 years and 40 editions of the magazine, we are touring the US uncovering reasons Why We Run from LtW readers and runners around the country.

We've teamed up with The North Face and Auteur Sportif in Boulder, CO to host an evening of global run culture, storytelling and connecting with fellow runners. Please join us for an easy run followed by great stories, food and drinks!

WHO WE ARE

is a quarterly print magazine dedicated to exploring the culture, history and social issues endemic to the world of running. Our pages are filled with a diverse collection of stories about running, interwoven with stunning photography and illustrations. Every edition of the magazine contains words and images that will connect you to our mission to inspire a global community of like-minded runners who believe in the power of putting one foot in front of the other.

Auteur Sportif aims to convey storytelling through running. Being a runner doesn’t have to mean you run fast or run far but that you use the experience to express your self and tell your story. It’s an opportunity to buck stereotypes and flex your individuality to the world.

The North Face is shaping the future of human/nature. Exploration is our oxygen. It shapes who we are, what we stand for and what we strive for. Because the path of discovery is also a path of progression. To see the world beyond the map and reimagine what each one of us can accomplish. Since 1966, we’ve continually explored new ways to make a difference for each other and our planet.
