Welcome to the annual inter-university bouldering competition, 🌟 BOULDER BASH!! 🌟This event will be BIGGER and BETTER than ever before!! It combines 9 different climbing university societies from all over NSW! 🤩
Those are USYD Boulder Society, University of Wollongong Rock Climbing Club, Macquarie University Climbing Society, UTS Outdoors Adventure society, Western Sydney Uni Compass Climbers, UTS Boulder Society, UNSW Outdoors Club, UNSW Boulder Society, & Sydney Uni Rock-Climbing and Mountaineering Club
Come along and enjoy epic climbing with your best bouldering pals, snack on food and grab some cool merch (keep an eye out for this!! 👀). And, of course, represent your awesome club/society. This is THE bouldering competition you don’t want to miss out on! 🤗🤩

Categories:
This year's categories are: Open A, Open B, Open C, Open D & Inclusive. Choose your category using the guide below.
Open A's: Men V7+, Women V6+
Open B's: Men V4-7, Women V3-6
Open C's: Men V3-4, Women V0-3
Open D's: Men V0-3, Women V0-2
Inclusive: V anything and everything
Reflecting the diversity of the climbing community, this category supports climbers regardless of how they identify to participate in an all gender, ability and age inclusive competition. We encourage anyone who feels comfortable doing so to register and welcome allies to participate.
*Please note that these are indoor grades. These are guidelines for the categories you should be in but does not limit you to only climbing those grades in the competition.
Timings:
Session 1: 9:00am - 11:30am
Session 2: 11:00am - 1:30pm
Session 3: 1:30pm - 4:00pm
Session 4: 4:00pm - 6:30pm
Food served at 1:30pm & 6:30pm
Finals:
Open B & Inclusive Finals: 7:00pm
Open A Finals: 9:20pm
Podiums & Close: 11:00pm
There will be loads of gear, goodies and prize money up for grabs!!
Please make sure you are a registered member of one of the societies involved in this competition - you may be asked for proof of membership.
