About this Event
On the 21st of November, The Weavers Arms will again be hosting an evening celebrating Beaujolais Nouveau Day.
This special event will consist of an unlimited five-course meal paired with a selection of Beaujolais Nouveau wine.
Upon arrival
Sourdough baguette and Bungay butter
Dozen baguette with soft Bungay salted butter
Pastis
Course 1
French onion soup
Caramelised Roscoff onions and veal stock topped with a Gruyère crouton
Course 2
Butler steak, fries, green sauce
Chargrilled butler steak, beef dripping fries and a classic café de Paris sauce
Course 3
Classic Toulouse cassoulet
Toulouse sausage, pork leg/belly, confit duck slow cooked with Haricot Tarbais beans
Course 4
Crème Brûlée
A dessert with a rich custard base and caramelised sugar topping
Course 5
Selection of French cheese with chutney and Peter's Yard crackers.
