Bottled Blonde Fort Worth presents BOTTLEDTOPIA 2023 featuring an allstar lineup of DJ's that include Borgeous, Esco, MakJ!
Last year we blew the roof off of Bottled Blonde Fort Worth by hosting our first BottledTopia series and we're coming back this year with even more fireworks.
April 21 - Borgeous
The LA-based Platinum recording artist and DJ/producer has already accomplished three Billboard Dance Radio Top 10s, three Beatport #1's and a #1 on the iTunes Dancechart in 15 different countries. His earlier releases include "From Cali With Love", "GANGSTEROUS", "Rags to Riches" and "AGGRO" that launched his career in 2013. However it was with the release of "Tsunami" in collaboration with Canadian electronic music duo DVBBS that he shot to international fame. At first there was confusion about the actual creator of the track. The single had been a big hit at festivals for months and occasionally been attributed to DJ Sander van Doorn, but was confirmed by Pete Tong to be the work of DVBBS and Borgeous. In its world exclusive, Tong played the song on his show on BBC Radio 1 on August 16, 2013. Billboard magazine called it “the most played tune at Tomorrowland,” the 2013 Belgian electronic music festival. It was officially released on Doorn Records on August 19, 2013. A week later, it reached #1 on the Beatport 100. It reached #1 on iTunes in 15 different countries, #1 on Beatport, received an EMPO Award for ‘Track of the Year’ and was nominated for the Juno Award ‘Best Dance Recording of the Year’.
April 22 - DJ Esco
Being the coolest DJ in the world ain’t easy, and nobody said it would be. As the resident spinster at ATL’s Magic City Mondays, DJ Esco is one of Southern hip-hop’s most important tastemakers. He works as Future Hendrix’s fulltime DJ, and serves as a de facto A&R on the superstar’s projects. One of those mixtapes, Future’s highly-acclaimed 56 Nights, was named for the amount of time DJ Esco spent in a prison in the United Arab Emirates for getting caught with W**d. Esco had Future’s hard drive with him in prison, a treasure chest of 400+ unreleased songs, and chose eight of them to be on 56 Nights once he got back safely to America. Building on his already legendary status, DJ Esco released Project E.T. (Esco Terrestrial) in June 2016, a mixtape hosted by Future, featuring the likes of Drake, Juicy J, and Lil Uzi Vert.
April 23 - Natty Rico (Sundown Set @6PM)
