Botany & Connection: Valentine’s Day Hike at Land’s End

• 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Guided hike from Sutro Baths to Eagle’s Point

Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day with a partner or looking to make new connections, this guided botany hike at Land’s End is the perfect mix of nature, learning, and community.

Led by a professional botanist, we’ll explore the stunning coastal trail, learn about local plant species, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Optional red wristbands will let you subtly share if you’re single and open to mingling!

• Difficulty: Moderate
• Distance: ~2 miles from Sutro Baths to Eagle’s Point (4 miles if you return via the same route)
• For a shorter loop option (~3.4 miles), you can take a different path back—but the coastal route is by far the most scenic!

We’ll wrap up the hike with sunset photos at Eagle’s Point—a perfect way to celebrate the day.

You can:

• Stroll back to the starting point along the same path
• Grab an Uber with your new friends
• Or invite someone to check out nearby China Beach!

By registering for and participating in our hikes, you agree to assume full responsibility for your personal safety and any consequences arising from your participation. Bay Area Botany Camp, including its owners, employees, and affiliates, is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or damages that may occur during or after the hike. This includes, but is not limited to, accidents, injuries related to the terrain, or any reactions to plants or environmental conditions encountered during the activity.

You further agree to follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by our guides, understanding that failure to do so may increase your personal risk. By participating, you voluntarily assume all associated risks and release Bay Area Botany Camp, its owners, and staff from any and all liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
