At Sketch Events & Socials, you’ll explore mindful observation using carefully curated drawing excercises, and have the use of *mixed media to support your creative flow 🌼

Each class offers a new theme—from inspiring still-life to delicate botanical subjects—guiding you to observe, interpret, and express with fresh eyes. Our inclusive, beginner-friendly sessions feel more like a creative hangout than a formal art lesson, giving you space to reconnect with your inner artist.

You’ll leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and proud of meaningful artwork that reflects your personal journey ✨🎨

What to expect:

Welcome and introduction to the class and me, your guide and artist Emma.

We then make a start with guided creative exercises that allow you to leave any inhibitions at the door and get those creative juices flowing! Here you will get the opportunity to try your hand at a series of alternative artistic methods that will free up your mind, allow for expression through exploration and experimentation.

As we get into the flow with a new open mindset, and your journey allows your creativity to shine, we move towards focusing on individual interpretations as you enjoy time working on your own canvas.

As we draw (no pun intended) to an end you will feel a sense of renewed creativity in both body and mind.

All artists will get to take away their work from the session as a reminder of their journey and to encourage their new found inner artist to practice learned methods in their own time.

There is a coffee bar at PinkMCR that serves hot / cold drinks in the venue. This will be open for those who wish to purchase a refreshment on the day.
