Capture Alaska's growing season on a silk scarf. Choose plain or a naturally-dyed background color, then arrange fresh leaves over silk to create your own one-of-a-kind silk scarf. While our silk bundles are being heat-processed, learn more about natural dyeing techniques, and how to identify local plants.Total workshop time is approximately 2 hours. This course is best suited for adult learners and mature teenagers.
All workshop material is provided in the course fees.
Course fees are $75 per person.
Adventure Club members receive a 10% discount.

About Ute: Ute Riesenkönig Olsson received a Master of Forestry from Duke University and a Master of Science in Ecological Studies from Colorado State University. She taught natural history to all ages at the Eagle River Nature Center for two decades before her retirement.
