Botanical Illustration and Plant ID Workshop at Stark

Think you “can’t draw”? Join mixed media artist and Portland nursery employee Rhett Hissam for a botanical illustration workshop! We will review basic plant identification and practice observational drawing techniques with flora from the nursery. Walk away with a custom botanical art piece and the confidence to keep creating!

**All materials will be provided and all skill levels are encouraged to attend!

***All classes at Stark this summer will be held in our veggie hoophouse, which is located in the yard of the nursery, near the trees and shrubs. It is a large greenhouse that functions as a covered outdoor area. If the weather is warm, we will have water available, but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
