Conifer Lawn | Adelaide, SA
About this Event
This holiday season, make the most of warm summer nights and be entertained at an outdoor screening of the 1986 American cult film Little Shop of Horrors.
The musical film is a horror black comedy about a geeky florist shop worker who finds out his Venus flytrap has an appetite for human blood.
The film stars Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, Vincent Gardenia, Steve Martin, and Levi Stubbs as the voice of Audrey II, with special appearances by Jim Belushi, John Candy, Christopher Guest and Bill Murray.
So gather your friends and family, grab a drink and snacks from the pop-up bar and laugh your way through a fun night out in a beautiful botanical setting.
Bring your picnic blankets and cushions or low chairs, and pack your BYO picnic - or pre-order a gourmet picnic box or enjoy snacks and drinks from the pop-up bar.
On the night from 7.30pm until the end of the interval, explore the Plants, Poison and Pop Culture exhibition in the Santos Museum of Economic Botany.
To see some 'Corpse Flower' plants in their leaf cycle stage, head to the Amazon Waterlily Pavilion. These endangered plants are in a unique display, storing energy ready for a flowering event at some time in the future....
