Bota By Night, a fixture in our series of Les Nuits Botanique events, is bound to bring some serious fun on May 23rd. The event, taking place just after our soirée experimental with Jenny Hval, Alabaster DePlume, Merope and more, will feature some of the best international dj's performing boundary-pushing dj-sets.
In the Orangerie Toccororo and Rui Ho are set to turn up the energy with pop edits and Latinx bangers, while BLACKCLUB take us back to the roots (but also the future!) of electronic music with their thumping Chicago techno sound. Navigating between dancehall and Detroit, Tygapaw takes us on a deep dive into the queer black electronic scene — they will be joined in the Museum by the Egyptian-Palestinian producer and dj Oldyungmayn, whose sets feature techno, electro, trance and Middle Eastern influences.

Bota By Night, een vaste waarde binnen Les Nuits, staat garant voor heel wat plezier op 23 mei. Het evenement, dat plaatsvindt net na onze experimentele soirée met Jenny Hval, Alabaster DePlume, Merope en meer, zal een aantal van de beste internationale dj’s bevatten die grensverleggende sets zullen draaien.
In de Orangerie zullen Toccororo en Rui Ho de energie opvoeren met pop edits en Latinx bangers, terwijl BLACKCLUB ons terugbrengt naar de wortels (maar ook de toekomst!) van de elektronische muziek met hun dreunende Chicago techno sound. Tygapaw, die laveert tussen dancehall en Detroit, neemt ons mee op een diepe duik in de queer black electronic scene – ze worden in het Museum vergezeld door de Egyptisch-Palestijnse producer en dj Oldyungmayn, wiens sets techno, electro, trance en invloeden uit het Midden-Oosten bevatten.
