Boston Spartans Summer Picnic
About this Event
Join past, present, and future MSU Spartans and their families and friends at our annual Summer Picnic! We will be at Castle Island in South Boston from 11am - 2pm on Saturday, August 1st. Gather among fellow Boston Spartans to share MSU stories, socialize, enjoy some nice weather, and wish our current Spartans a successful school year!
Please RSVP via this EventBrite so that we can be sure to have enough food and drinks available.
For those traveling by car: there is parking at Castle Island. Use 2080 William J Day Blvd, South Boston, MA 02127 for directions.
For those traveling by public transportation: take the route 7 and route 10 bus to the E Broadway @ Farragut Rd stop. Castle Island is a 10-15 minute walk around Pleasure Bay.
Look for us in the MSU tent behind Sullivan's, right off the Castle Island parking lot. We'll supply entrees, soft-drinks, water, and paper products! Guests are asked to bring a dish to share (or, contribute $6 per person to the picnic and we'll make sure there is enough food to go around). For guests bringing food with last names beginning with A-L, please bring a dessert. For those with last names beginning M-Z, please bring a side dish.
