About this Event

Join us for this lively community author event!

Meet Clara Silverstein, author of the Boston Chef’s Table cookbook, to learn more about local food history and how Boston’s current chefs define contemporary New England cooking. She also will share lots of fun and unexpected stories about restaurants, chefs, and regional favorites. We'll feature snacks with our New England inspired "Boston Blend." Don't miss it!

About the cookbook:

More than 50 Recipes from the Longstanding Restaurants in Beantown

The Boston Chef’s Table (Globe Pequot Press) brings recipes from talented chefs in the Boston area right to your kitchen. More than 50 recipes highlight contemporary New England fare from chefs including Jody Adams, Joanne Chang, and Andy Husbands. Details about the city’s culinary history and ethnic food enclaves provide fascinating background. Color photos of restaurants, recipes, chefs, and Boston itself make the book a joy to browse and a beautiful gift for residents as well as tourists.
