This Saint John show connection is a collaboration with Roots and Soul Music Services. Bosko Baker is a roots musician blending American music — country blues, ragtime, folk, swing — into what he calls “street swing” or “bozo blues.” Drawing inspiration from legends like Doc Watson, Merle Travis, Big Bill Broonzy, Blind Blake, Jimmie Rodgers, and Mississippi John Hurt, his music combines raw energy with timeless tradition.
With a spontaneous stage presence honed from years of busking, Bosko’s shows are where his music truly comes to life — an infectious mix of blues, swing, and folk that speaks to the heart of American roots music. From festival stages to intimate venues, his dynamic blend of storytelling, finger-picking guitar, and a deep respect for tradition makes every show a unique & foot stomping experience that has gained him a loyal following.
Tyler Westcott is a singer-songwriter, storyteller, poet, band leader, and multi-instrumentalist based in Western New York. With a banjo, guitar, harmonica, and a sharp lyrical wit, he delivers songs that explore the human condition with humor and heart. Drawing on old-time string band music, 1920s & ’30s blues and jazz, folk revival, and field recordings, Westcott blends tradition with original songwriting that feels both timeless and timely.
Tyler has shared the stage with legends including Peter Rowan, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Sierra Ferrell, JD Wilkes, Willie Watson, Dom Flemons, The Felice Brothers and Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band. His performances are lively, soulful, and rich with roots music tradition.
