Join us on Sunday, November 17th, at San Francisco Ocean beach for a heartwarming afternoon of borscht, community, and connection! This unique social gathering, hosted by the Borscht Organization and Russian-American Community Services (RACS), invites everyone—especially the Russian-speaking community, but all are welcome—to come together, share a meal, and make new friends.
We’ll be serving borscht for up to 100 people, accompanied by bread, sour cream, garlic, and water. All the ingredients and tools to prepare this beloved dish will be provided, and we’ll handle the cooking. No need to bring food—just come hungry and ready for a good time!
Here’s what you need to know:
• Suggested Donation: $15 per person (minimum) to help cover costs.
• What to Bring: We’ll provide plastic plates and spoons, but you’re encouraged to bring your own reusable plate and spoon for an eco-friendly experience. Feel free to bring your favorite drink to share—water will be provided.
• Who’s Invited: Everyone! Whether you’re Russian-speaking or not, we welcome you to enjoy this cultural event.
• What’s Included: Borscht, bread, sour cream, garlic, and water.
