Borrowed Light: A Community Painting Experience
Join us for a creative, reflective painting experience centered on community, connection, and the small lights that help us keep going. We’ll begin with a guided moonlit landscape painting: think night sky, soft hills, stars, fireflies, and quiet summer magic.
Then comes the Resilient Stories twist: your canvas will gently move around the room, and each person will add a small mark of light to someone else’s painting. That might be a star, a firefly, a constellation point, a glimmer...just a tiny reminder that we are not meant to do life completely alone.
At the end, your painting returns to you, carrying your own work and the light others added along the way. Then you’ll finish your piece by weaving real fairy lights through the canvas, creating a glowing reminder you can take home.
This event is about more than making something pretty. It’s about practicing what it feels like to receive, to trust the process, to let others contribute goodness, and to remember that even in dark or uncertain seasons, light can still find you.
