Exactly what it sounds like. There is no race. It is called the Zero-K after all. But in case you over-achievers out there need your acknowledgement, you will get a 0.0 sticker. For proof, you know?!?!
Is it a walk?
Exercise is a vital part of mental health. But this event is a break to focus on how important proper sleep is to our mental health. So for one day, take a break with us and celebrate sleeping in!
Is it a run?
Definitely not.
Is it a 5K/10K?
In spirit, perhaps.
So what do we actually do?
Sleep in. Seriously.
Then join us for brunch, pick up your non-race packet, grab your event shirt, and celebrate supporting mental health awareness with friends, family, and the community.
What if I don't attend brunch?
Now you're talking. If you want to sleep right through, we will still get your packet to you! You're supporting a great cause no matter what!
Why are we doing this?
Because mental health matters.
The Pillow K is a fun and lighthearted reminder that sometimes the best thing you can do is slow down, rest, and take care of yourself.
Our message is simple:
Don't Sleep on Mental Health.
Do I need special shoes?
No.
Do I need athletic ability?
Also no.
Do I need a pillow?
We highly recommend it.
What should I wear?
