Often we assume that working our diaphragm and on the muscles around the larynx is enough to become an accomplished singer. The truth is - YOU, as a whole, are the instrument. To become a singer means to master your BODY, MIND and SOUL. In this workshop we give room for you to explore your instrument (the body) through movement. Starting with a group vocal warm up and song presentation (song of your choice). Followed by the movement portion, in which we will find and work through possible blockades or tension, discover strength through vulnerability, increase awareness and strive for alignment of body and mind. In the end, each participant will have the opportunity to apply what they have explored and found and to integrate it in their vocal performance by presenting their song once again.
