BoriShorts – NY Showcase highlights the vision of Puerto Rican filmmakers from New York, presenting an eclectic mix of drama, documentary, and animation. From intimate stories of illness, love, and reconciliation, to animated journeys inspired by Taíno mythology and Puerto Rican traditions, these shorts reflect the voices of the diaspora and their deep cultural pride. Created entirely by Boricuas from New York, this showcase celebrates the creativity and storytelling power of a community that continues to build bridges between the island and the city.

Finding Pa’  - English - Drama - 20min Miguel has lived most of his life with an empty space where his father should have been. When that father suddenly calls after decades apart, Miguel is torn between the anger he’s carried since childhood and the small hope for closure. Finding Pá unfolds in the quiet moments between them, the memories of what was lost, fragile laughter, and the weight of forgiveness.
