Applicants,

Congratulations on making it to the development phase of the Applicant Preparation Program (APP). The CHP Academy has a reputation of being one of the best and most challenging law enforcement training environments in the country. The Border Division / Applicant Development Team will get you ready to meet these challenges.

The APP Phase II courses are designed to prepare you for the operational tempo and intensity of the CHP Academy.

Arrive in Business Professional Attire (etc. Business suit)

You shall bring a change of Physical training (PT) gear in a gym bag. (Black top, black bottoms, sport shoes, 1 gallon of water, workout mat and a pen)
