Beware the Ides of March!
High Water Theatre Presents: Booziest Caesar, an abridged comedy-improv performance of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar… totally drunk!
Two actors get drunk as a skunk while the rest of the cast scrambles to keep the story on track. A hilarious romp through Rome filled with audience participation, puppets, and the greatest conspiracy of all time.
All performances at Studio 24 begin at 8pm. Doors open at 7:30pm.
Featuring Max Loria, Liv Russo Haven, Andi Livingston, Crystal Faria, and Gina Milano on Fridays & Jay Merante, Randy Thornton, Sara Dreibelbis, Jake Ellison, and Dana Leahy on Saturdays, with Direction by Thorne Hall and Combat Direction by Jason Pope-Bayne.
Booziest Caesar is a fundraiser in support of High Water’s growing ventures–like producing <redacted big="" musical="" you="" totally="" heard="" of=""> and features tiered ticket pricing:
Student Ticket: $10 with valid student ID.
General Admission: $20. Show your ID at the door for a complimentary jell-o shot.
DONATION TIERS:
Roman Tier: $50. Show your ID at the door for 2 complimentary jell-o shots.
Dagger Tier: $100. Show your ID at the door for 2 complimentary jell-o shots, a Booziest Caesar linocut print, and a thank-you in our next show program.
Conspirator Tier: $300. Show your ID at the door for 2 complimentary jell-o shots, a Booziest Caesar linoprint t-shirt, a thank-you in our next program, and 2 tickets to The Big Musical.
*Consuming alcohol is an opt-in experience. Audience members who do not wish to drink may bypass it easily and discreetly. Drunk actors are on a rotating schedule and carefully monitored. Please drink in moderation.
On April 20th, there will be a special performance of Julius Reefer: a stoned spin on our show at Thornden Park Amphitheatre at 3:30pm. Julius Reefer is presented in collaboration with The Greenhouse, organized by ESF Memes (no affiliation with ESF) & in benefit of SIRDN and Food Not Bombs. Tickets for The Greenhouse performance are not interchangeable with tickets for the Studio 24 performances. Drinking is not permitted at Thornden Park.
