The False Positives’ latest single, “Long Distance Romance,” is a high-energy, catchy power pop tune that is about a common situation, trying to keep a relationship going while living far apart, though distance isn’t always measured in miles. The song, like everything from this Boston-based rock ‘n’ roll band, draws inspiration from deep roots in garage rock, punk, power pop, and straight-ahead rock ‘n’ roll. And it is the first recording from the band’s new line-up, which has Pete Cassani (the Peasants) on lead guitar and Carl Biancucci (Classic Ruins) on bass joining songwriter/guitarist Dave Harrison. For this record, they have Stephen Hart on drums and the session was done at Galaxy Park Studios by Richard Marr.

The Cynz are a full-throttle rock band formed around the songwriting talents of poet CYNDI DAWSON (voc) and HENRY SEIZ (gtr/voc). The band has been called "the closest thing to the 1970's CBGB's you will get from a band that formed in 2011." Their songs are hard-rocking tales of heartbreak, survival, determination, redemption, and sometimes unbridled joy at break-neck speed!!!
CYNDI DAWSON is a visual on-stage tsunami, period. She leads the band through shamanic rock & roll rites of passage. Her raw, emotional stage presence along with the band’s edgy, powerful vibe is truly an experience. THE CYNZ' influences derive from the late '70s Lower East Side NYC chainsaw music of the RAMONES and the tough, gritty vibe of The MC5, ALICE COOPER and MITCH RYDER & THE DETROIT WHEELS.

Freeloader - Nat Freedberg is a musician and songwriter from Boston who's been around since the early 1980s. He's written and recorded a lot of songs for Boston bands like the Flies, the Titanics, the Satanics, the Clamdiggers and the Upper Crust.
